Like Italian the way it's supposed to be? By that, I mean, Pasta, Sauce, Cheese, Meat..I don't know what has happened in recent years, but I really mean it when I say there are too many italian restaurants who have gotten away from these staples, and gone off the deep end, where you'll see more fish, meat, and bean dishes that you will that are Pasta Based.
Bucca Di Beppo does it right. By that, I mean, the way your Italian Grandmother made it for you when you were a kid, from scratch, before the bottled spaghetti
sauces and the Sam's Club style frozen dishes that you re heat to dump the sauce on.

I'm talking flat out awesome food. Delicious, no matter what you order. And the flat out most funnest Italian atmosphere on the planet. Every room is full of color and pictures, and they are all themed. Among some of those themes. The Sinatra Booth, where Jo Jo Walker and I enjoyed lunch. The Kitchen booth, pictured on this page, where you can sit and dine right in the middle of the cooking action. The most popular room, is The Popes Room. You'll have no trouble finding that one on this page.
Bucca not only serves it fresh and tasty. the food is top quality, and extremely affordable. Servings are HUGE, designed to be shared. Whenever I dine there, I always end up taking a ton of food home. And my stomach is full too. And my mouth is smiling.
